STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS

31 Commonwealth awards, and not one of them for a school report.

Writing is a real world skill. It gets children read, judged and recognised by people who have never met them, in rooms they’ll never walk into.

These students wrote their entries in their own time, on their own subjects. What we gave them was the method.

Every piece of writing below can be read in full.

THE COMMONWEALTH ESSAY COMPETITION

The oldest international writing competition for young people.

Founded in 1883 and run by the Royal Commonwealth Society. Entries come from more than 50 countries and are judged in London.

→ Add the annual entrant figure here — the number published by the Royal Commonwealth Society that shows how rare a medal is.

HOW

We don’t coach competition entry.

There is no competition class at FunFox, and no separate preparation track. Nobody sat with these children and worked on their entries. They chose their own topics, wrote in their own time, and submitted alongside tens of thousands of other students.

That’s why the results mean something to us. A mark on a school report tells you how a child compared to the twenty five children beside them. An award judged in London tells you something else entirely.

We teach writing as a skill for the world, not for the report. Recognition of this kind is what that looks like when it works.

WHAT PARENTS SAY

In their own words.

Watch parents talk about their child’s experience.

Every child here started with a free trial class.

Same method. Same teachers. What they did with it was their own.
